Spring - Summer of 2017 were full of various events, which are so important for our children, families, professional community and the Tajik society as a whole. Within the framework of the partnership project "Promoting Early Intervention Programs through the Involvement of Parents in the Healthcare System of the Republic of Tajiksitan", one of the leading experts of early intervention and mental health of Bangladesh and Australia, Dr. Nusrat Ahmed (Director of HOPE Center, Dhaka), visited Tajikistan. Dr. Nusrat conducted a series of sessions on the role of the medical worker in the early screening of developmental disability, as well as in early intervention and current approaches to "therapy" for children with neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. Nusrat held sessions for doctors, parents and specialists of the city of Dushanbe. I monitored the programs of the Center for Support and Development of Children and Adolescents with Autism and Mental Development.
