From 7 to 9 October 2016, in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, in the secondary school № 72, was conducted a Informative marathon on "Autism and learning problems." The event was held under the initiative and support of the parents of children with autism, "IRODA" public organization ( Parents of children with autism initiatives , the Republic of Tajikistan) in cooperation with the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia - Tajikistan, and funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) under the "Initiative to support the effective management "as well as the publishing agency" Elite ".The trainers at the event are the ex experienced exerts in autism spectrum disorders Marina Slepian and Luba Rubin- Niyazova representing "SULAMOT» Group (Israel). Marina is a mother of child with autism, which made her passionate to collaborate with parents organization and Luba was born in Dushanbe , which made her happy to back to her mother-town and share her experience with Tajik parents and professionals. Marathon has included intensive seminars and workshops on practical focus, highlighting various aspects of care for children with autism and dyslexia, building an effective correctional-developing environment and inclusion in the general school and pre-school education. | The seminar was attended by over 100 people from all over the Tajikistan: the parents of children with autism, professionals working in the field of autism correction and accompanying children with autism within the inclusive education, teachers of ordinary and special schools, teachers of preschool education specialists working with children with autism (speech therapists , psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists). IRODA is gratuful to SULAMOT for gifted this unforgetable exprience. Hope this cooperation will continue in future.
